As a member of the Disabled Photographers Society we are all in a position to be able to submit examples of our work to be awarded three different levels of distinction.
With a submission deadline of March 31st I have decided to put myself forward for a Licentiate of the Disabled Photographers Society (LDPS). I will be making my final image selection very soon and filling in the necessary accompanying paperwork and then I will be in the hands of the judges.
Should I prove successful then I will be attempting the distinction of Associate of the Disabled Photographers Society (ADPS) and then hopefully the Fellowship (FDPS). The criteria is extraordinarily high for all three awards and only a handful of each have ever previously been given out but I will, as always, give 100% and hope that is good enough for the expert panel.
