With the blown pupil meaning I was forced to miss Darley Moor yesterday focus (see what I did there?) now switches to the end of the month and 2 solo trips that are sure to be both exciting and a serious challenge.
Having endured a pretty miserable meeting at Donington Park the Thundersport GB wagon train will be hoping for better conditions when they descend on Anglesey and the Trac Mon circuit on Friday 24th – Sunday 26th and I will be travelling over by train on the Friday to check in to my hotel in Llangefni before heading to the circuit early Saturday as well as Sunday before my return journey home on Monday.
After unpacking, uploading images and having a day or two to relax with Kerry and the twins it’ll be time to pack once again and on Thursday morning head to Liverpool for the ferry to the Isle of Man and my first experience of the Manx GP. It will be a whistle-stop trip as I’m heading home on Saturday so at present the plan is to arrive, check-in, visit the paddock on Thursday evening, out all day with the camera on Friday when, weather permitting I’ll be shooting the 2nd Lightweight race in the morning and the Senior Manx in the afternoon. I may have a drink or 2 on Friday night in Douglas and then it will be homeward bound on Saturday afternoon.
If you see me be sure to say “hello” but don’t wave, I won’t see you!!
