2019 Round up P.D.M.C.C

2019 was my 3rd full year covering the Preston & District Motorcycle Club meetings at the tight and twisty Three Sisters circuit in Wigan and it was yet again another fantastic year of racing.

Tony Griffiths was in dominant form this year despite the very close attention of Alex Latham and Richie Harrison.

It also saw me become a class sponsor and have my advert in the race program which was a huge buzz for me personally and I’ll never forget the feeling as the Streetstock 125 field rolled to the grid for the first time. As ever the racing in all classes was close and always offered huge entertainment for the spectators around the circuit as well as for the blind photographer fumbling with his lenses!

Richie Harrison had the Myerscough College Kawasaki 400 under him as he ended his near 3 week retirement!

It was great to see Magnificent Seven man John Marsh make it out at the double header round and be as fast as ever although sadly neither Tom Gigg or Dan Hosker managed to make the start line this year, Tom was however getting faster and faster around the beautiful Anglesey circuit with the W100 club while Daniel was concentrating on exams and a short lived CBR125 build that eventually made way for a trials bike for over the winter months.

A huge thank you to the club, riders, marshals and ladies in the diner for looking after me all year and also to UK Clubsport who used quite a few of my shots in their race reports as well as 2 in the actual magazine which was a significant step forward for me as a recognized ‘tog’, I have a plan for next year and so hope to be back for each round in 2020.
